The City of Spokane, through its Department of Engineering Services (hereinafter “City”) is inviting qualified firms to submit Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) for professional services related to: • Design of a 5-leg roundabout, including a minor amount of utility design and including plans and specifications. • Substantial real estate acquisition will be required. The city’s on-call real estate consultant will acquire the parcels or portions of parcels identified by the design consultant in the ROW plan he will prepare. • Environmental review will be done by City personnel. • A topo survey has been done for the site by city personnel. Follow-up survey needs will be done by city personnel. • Some geotechnical work has been done by the City’s on-call geotechnical consultant. If additional geotechnical exploration is needed, that work will be done by the design consultant or his subconsultant. • Existing and projected traffic count information is available.

The City of Spokane, through its Department of Engineering Services (hereinafter “City”) is initiating this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to solicit Proposals from Firms with expertise in surveying (boundary surveys, topographic surveys), writing legal descriptions for easements and acquisitions and researching boundary lines. Any contract awarded as a result of this procurement is contingent upon the availability of funding. A portion of the funding for this project may come from state or federal sources. Where applicable, the contract awarded as a result of this procurement will incorporate the requirements of state or federal funding programs. The period of performance of the contract resulting from this RFQ is tentatively scheduled to begin on or about January 1, 2026, and to end on December 31, 2027.

Where applicable, the contract awarded as a result of this procurement will incorporate the requirements of state or federal funding programs. The period of performance of the contract resulting from this RFQ is tentatively scheduled to begin on or about January 1, 2026, and to end on December 31, 2027.

The period of performance of the contract resulting from this RFQ is tentatively scheduled to begin on or about January 1, 2026, and to end on December 31, 2027.

Any contract awarded as a result of this procurement is contingent upon the availability of funding. A portion of the funding for this project may come from state or federal sources. Where applicable, the contract awarded as a result of this procurement will incorporate the requirements of state or federal funding programs. The period of performance of the contract resulting from this RFQ is tentatively scheduled to begin on or about January 1, 2026, and to end on December 31, 2027.

This project consists of the construction of approximately 4,600 cubic yards of excavation and embankment, 7,200 cubic yards of common borrow, 3,900 cubic yards of crushed surfacing, 15,500 square yards of 8-inch thick HMA pavement, 500 linear feet of sidewalk and curb or curb and gutter, 13,300 linear feet of pavement markings, 220 square feet of signs, 18 luminaires, 300 linear feet of high-tension cable barrier removal, 4 cable barrier terminals, traffic control, sundry utility adjustments, and other related miscellaneous items.
